Projects

What I've built.

A working list of client systems, products, demos and personal projects. The common thread: find the real problem, build a small version, test it until it stops breaking, and keep a person in the loop wherever accuracy matters.

Several clients asked not to be named, since they'd rather competitors not know about the edge. Client work is described in general terms, and I'm happy to walk through how any of it works in conversation.

Client work

Built for real businesses.

Anonymized: no client names, and the only results quoted are the ones clients gave me, labeled as their estimates.

Engineering · document automation In use

Drawing review and stamping agent for a structural engineering firm

The firm spent hours every week reviewing drawings for truss and beam notation and applying the engineer's digital stamp. I watched how the work was done, then connected an agent to Bluebeam that reviews each document and applies the specified stamp.

Uncertain documents are flagged rather than guessed, a person approves every stamp, and every action is logged. By the client's estimate, a weekly task of 4–5 hours became about 15 minutes of review.

Permit-based lead system for a remodeling contractor

I approached a contractor about a website; what he actually needed was leads, which he was buying for thousands a month. I researched unconventional sources and built a weekly workflow on public remodeling permits from the city's permit portal.

It filters and sorts new permits, verifies addresses, and checks whether a contractor is already assigned, so outreach goes to jobs that are still open.

Logistics · recruiting In progress

AI voice recruiting funnel for a trucking company

A recruiting funnel that combines short video with an AI voice agent that answers candidates' questions about pay, benefits and the hiring process, pre-qualifies them, and books recruiter callbacks.

SaaS · security review Web app audit

Security audit of a sales-data platform

Reviewed a client's web application and found API keys exposed in front-end code, a database that wasn't properly locked down, third-party sign-in permissions far broader than needed, and missing error logging.

Delivered a prioritized remediation plan and walked the team through each fix.

Mobile · AI companion Paused

AI companion app for truck drivers

Built with two other contractors over about six months. We set expectations up front that real-time voice navigation was not yet mature; at the end I advised against shipping it until latency improved, and the client paused the project.

Websites and concepts for local businesses

Client sites and redesign concepts for dental practices, auto dealers, a masonry supplier, a CNC machine shop, remodelers, a commercial cleaner and an estate-planning consultancy, built for speed, accessibility and local search.

Products I run and demos I build so people can react to something real before committing to a build.

Arctyk Vision

Google Maps and AI-search visibility reports for local service businesses. It pulls Google Business Profile and search data, uses an LLM to analyze a business against its local competitors, and turns that into prioritized fixes.

Early reports compared businesses that only looked similar, such as an interior designer against home remodelers, and read convincingly while being wrong. I added a second AI check that verifies each competitor's category, plus logging to see why anything was excluded.

After-hours AI intake agent

A voice agent for a home-care business that answers after-hours calls instead of voicemail, checks the service area, finds open consultation slots, books, writes the CRM record and alerts staff.

Hard limits on what it may say, a recap-and-confirm step, no duplicate bookings on retries, an error workflow that alerts a person, and SMS escalation if staff don't respond. Tested with scripted calls and checked against the CRM and calendar records.

Personal projects & R&D

Built because I was curious.

Side projects, experiments and research. Most are private, so these are descriptions rather than links.

Research Rust · evaluation

Long-term memory for AI assistants

A private R&D project on giving AI assistants memory that stays useful over months, not just within one conversation. The most valuable lesson so far was about honest measurement: rebuilding the evaluation around repeated runs and published ranges instead of a single best score.

Research Rust · agents

Agents that drive desktop apps natively

A local workspace where AI agents operate applications through their native automation interfaces rather than clicking on screenshots, which turns out to be far more reliable.

Image & video ComfyUI · local + hosted models

AI image and video generation

Hands-on work in ComfyUI across image and video models, from Stable Diffusion and SDXL to Krea 2 and Z-Image for images, and LTX 2.3 and 2.5, Wan 2.2 and MiniMax for video. Most of the craft is in the workflow and the prompting: getting consistent, controllable results rather than lucky ones.

3D Blender · Kimi K3

LLM-driven 3D rendering in Blender

An experiment in how far a language model can go in building and rendering 3D models in Blender through code. Not perfect, but the results are far better than most people expect, and the gallery shows what came out of it.
